I found this on YouTube. The lyrics are so beautiful and express our feelings as grieving parents so well. It wasn’t written for the loss of a child, but the artists’s loss is addressed so poignantly that I felt it to be appropriate for this blog. After all, music speaks to all of us in different ways. If I had been familiar with this song when Donald died, I would have asked his cousin and aunt to sing it and I would have had the lyrics printed for everyone.
